The teapot, which is made from premium stoneware, has a beautiful crackle glaze exterior finish. The interior of the teapot is white. It has a stainless steel lid/strainer. The strainer is made from ultra-fine mesh stainless steel.

To use:  add loose leaf tea then pour in hot water. Once the tea has finished steeping you can pour the tea out into your favorite cup. The strainer lid will prevent the loose leaf tea from exiting into your mug. You can use most teas more than one time. Just add hot water and steep again. Easy to use and no mess.

The teapot is BPA and dishwasher safe. The teapot is also microwave safe. Do not put the stainless steel lid in the microwave. This item is sold in white crackle, slate blue crackle and turquoise crackle. 
 
CARING FOR YOUR GLASS: -Not dishwasher safe -Not microwave safe -Gently hand wash glass, straw and bamboo. We recommend you wash the bamboo tops with dish soap and leave them out to dry. To remove odors, soak the top in vinegar. Mix equal parts hot water and vinegar in a bowl, and let the top soak for up to a 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with hot water and towel dry.
